For interested AWiA members, AWiA is proposing to host a 3-day regional tour post conference (departing Alice Springs at 8 AM on Tuesday 11 August and returning to Alice Springs at 6:30 PM on Thursday 13 August).
The tour will travel from Alice Springs to Curtin Springs Station to experience the Severin’s family hospitality, hear first- hand about the opportunities of managing two businesses on 1 million acres.
One business focuses on growing prime quality beef and the other managing a successful tourism business providing opportunities for visitors to experience nature on the station via their nature based salt lake and clay pan walks and experience their new native grass paper making facility.
The Tour will be restricted to 24 people at an approximate cost of $670 – $790 per person. This includes return travel from Alice Springs, 2 nights accomodation at Curtin Springs, all meals, paper making tour, salt lake tour, entry into Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, cultural centre and exploring Uluru and Kata Tjuta.
